Fresh updates on this year’s Funside summer camps:
1. Day camps in Budapest: following today’s government announcement allowing day camps to go ahead this summer, we are happy to confirm that Funside’s day camps in Budapest will be open as well. Pre-registration is ongoing. We will switch from pre-registration to regular registration once the new regulations are passed into law, as that is when today’s announcement becomes legally binding and that is when we will know if any of the new measures require us to amend our program. In the meantime you can continue booking places without any obligations. We are currently working on a package of preventive measures and we will share these with you soon.
2. Overnight camps: today’s announcement was mainly about day camps, but it has been also confirmed that a separate government announcement is due on overnight camps, and it is expected to come by the end of the month, that is some time in the next 2 weeks. As Funside Balaton is an overnight camp only, we now have to wait until these announcements are made to be sure if the camp can go ahead. We know that waiting can be frustrating (we absolutely feel your pain), but this is about the safety of all our campers and staff, so we must be patient for a little while longer.
